Prescot Town Shopping Centre

Today i thought i would write something about Prescot Town Shopping Centre as part of my 'travel' blog.

Firstly, Prescot Town Centre is a shopping centre including shops such as 'Home & Bargains, Farmfoods and Heron, for any of you who don't know about the shopping centre. Sadly, shops like Tesco, Asda and Morrisons have taken over by including everything you could possibly buy such as food,drink,health and beauty, toys, clothes and even eye opticians! Therefore, people do not shop like they used to were they had to visit quite a few shops to buy everything individually!


Secondly, there are far to many 'Hair And Beauty' Salons in Prescot. The industry for beauty is very popular and there is a lot of competition for many salons in Prescot! There is at least 8 hair and beauty Salons and 3 barbers from what i can remember. This is obviously way too much for a small town.

Thirdly, I personally think there needs to be more clothing shops in Prescot for girls at the age of 13-15. There is no shops which sell teenage girl clothes what girls are interested in. There also seems to be a lack of shoe shops in Prescot. There is Brantano or JD and i feel like JD is more for gym/running type of shoes. I also think there should be a nice restaurant like Nando's or Pizza Hut in Prescot which may encourage people to walk round the shops more!

Overall, I think Prescot needs to reduce the amount of hair and beauty Salons and and add more shops for teenage girls and also add restaurants!
