Justin Bieber concert 2016 - Purpose Tour with support acts 'Mic Lowry' and 'The Knocks'

After waiting for what feels like forever to finally see Justin Bieber in concert... the day arrived! The 23rd of October I woke up feeling so excited at the fact that within a few hours I would be seeing Justin Bieber live.

At about 4 o'clock I decided to start getting ready for the concert, which meant I spent so much time getting my makeup perfect whilst listening to Justin's album 'purpose'.

When we got to the venue, it was so busy and the queue to get into the arena was huge, however the queue went down quite quickly and before we knew it we were in the arena.

We headed to our seats and when we got to them we were so surprised at how close we were to the stage. It was hard to believe that Justin would be standing so close to us. We sat in our seats for a bit longer before the lights went out, which is one of the best parts of a concert because the whole crowd starts screaming and you can feel the excitement within the room.

The first act on stage supporting Justin was a band called 'Mic Lowry' from Liverpool. There is five members in the band Delleile, Akia, Kaine, Ben and Michael and they were very impressive. I hadn't heard of them before but they were amazing singers and got the crowd clapping along to some of their songs. My favourite song the band sang was a song called 'Oh Lord' which is their latest release. I definitely recommend everyone checks them out as they are extremely talented and I can't wait to hear more music from them!

The second support act was an electronic music duo called 'The Knocks' who travelled all the way from New York City to perform as one of Justin's support acts. The duo performed brilliantly, and looked so happy to be up on the stage performing to 21,000 people. The duo definitely got the crowd going and excited for Bieber.

Then at about half eight, Justin came on stage. One of the greatest moments in a concert is when the artist has a great opening. Justin's intro was a voice over of him talking about how he has made mistakes and has tackled many obstacles in his life. At first on the video it appears he is falling through air and then it moves on to him being a cube... and then Justin literally enters the stage in a huge cube. He then had a pen and started to write words on the cube such as 'Believe' and 'purpose'. which was very inspiring to watch.

Justin performed a bunch of his new songs from his album purpose such as 'mark my words' which was performed when he was in the cube. He also performed 'no sense,' 'no pressure' and many more.. He sang a few of his older songs such as 'As long as you love me' and 'Baby'. Justin put on an excellent show. There was lots of lights, fireworks, smoke, and an acoustic set were Justin sang one of my favourite songs 'Love yourself' and his dancers were also incredible.

The show ended with the song 'sorry' which was unbelievable as it is one of Justin's best songs ever released. Justin and his dancers danced in water during the song sorry and it was a great finish to a great show.

I really hope Justin does another tour again as I would love to see him live again.

Thanks for reading,
Beth
